
TWO IMARI BOWLS AND A BLUE AND WHITE 'PEONIES' BOWL Edo/Meiji period, 18th/19th century Comprising: a moulded bowl, decorated in underglaze blue, enamels and gilt with panels of mythical beasts, vases and peony sprays on geometric grounds within a ruyi border, the exterior with cherry blossoms, 富貴長春 Fuki choshun mark; a flower form bowl decorated with foliate panels of a karashishi, landscapes and flowering gardens, with a central dragon medallion and floral scroll to the exterior, Chenghua mark; and a blue and white deep bowl decorated with birds amongst large peony blooms, a further peony medallion to the well.
