A PAIR OF ARITA BLUE AND WHITE KAKIEMON STYLE 'TIGER' DISHES Edo period, late 18th century Each with a brown dressed bracket lobed rim, decorated to the centre with a prowling tiger beside bamboo and rockwork, within a border of eight panels, variously enclosing flower sprays, figures in gardens and dragons. 22cm (8 5/8in) diam.
