
A GROUP OF FOUR IMARI DISHES AND A KUTANI DISH Edo period, 17th-18th century Comprising: a Kutani dish with moulded petal rim, brightly enamelled with a duck in flight above reeds; an Imari dish decorated with a large ripe pomegranate issuing from a leafy stem; a moulded leaf form dish painted and gilt with a fan, flower sprays and landscape cartouche; a larger dish with a jardiniere of peonies on a terrace within a border of flowers and rockwork; and a further large dish with a central character amongst shell and wave designs reserved on an underglaze blue enamelled flowerhead ground, Chenghua mark.
