
A RUSSET-STREAKED JAR AND AN OLIVE-GREEN-GLAZED JAR Song Dynasty The first jar with a compressed rounded body rising to a gently flared upright neck and set with a pair of ribbed loop handles, covered in a lustrous dark brown glaze with thick russet streaking; the second of globular form, the deep olive hued glaze decorated in black with foliate designs.
