A PAIR OF IMARI VASES AND COVERS Circa 1700 Each boldly painted in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt with ho-o in dense flowering gardens of peonies, blossoming cherry trees and pine, within decorative floral panels, and below a scrolling kiku and lotus collar, the domed cover with karashishi on rockwork finials. 65cm (25 1/2in) high.
