A PAIR OF BRONZE 'RECUMBENT DOE' CHARIOT YOKE ORNAMENTS Northwest China and southwestern Inner Mongolia, 5th/4th century BCE Each naturalistically modelled with a robust torso connected to a slender neck, cast with almond-shaped eyes and a pair of wide ears, the legs neatly tucked beneath. 10.5cm (4 1/8in) long.
