
A KOREAN INLAID-CELADON LOBED 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' CUP AND STAND Goryeo Dynasty, 12th Century. The cup potted with deep sides divided into ten lobes and supported on a short, splayed foot; the stand rising from a lobed, spreading foot, with a broad tray encircling a two-tiered platform recessed at the centre; both inlaid in sanggam technique with rows of chrysanthemum motifs, covered overall with a grey-green glaze. 15.8cm (6 1/4in) diam.
