
A BLUE AND WHITE 'DAY-LILY' BOWL 15th/16th century With rounded sides rising from a short foot to a gently everted rim, the interior painted with a continuous scrolling vine bearing leaves and four daylily blooms, encircling a central medallion defined by a double-line border and enclosing a floral head, the exterior decorated in echo with the leafy and floral scrolls of the interior. 15.5cm (6 1/8in) diam.
