A BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' JAR Hongzhi Sturdily potted of baluster shape, rising to a waisted neck, painted around the body with a wide frieze of leafy scrolls bearing lotus blossoms, the foot and neck each similarly decorated with a band of lotus flowers issuing from scrolling foliage. 27.2cm (10 3.4in) high.
