
A BLUE AND WHITE 'LADIES' GINGER JAR Kangxi Elegantly potted with an ovoid shape, painted to the exterior with a continuous scene depicting two groups of figures, one group led by a gentleman, accompanied by attendants variously engaged in carrying a parasol, guiding a horse and holding a bundle, in greeting to the other group led by a lady holding a young boy in her arms and followed by three female attendants amid scrolling clouds, with a wood cover. 21.5cm (8 1/2) high.
