
A CHALCEDONY AGATE 'HARE' SNUFF BOTTLE 19th century The flattened body of rounded rectangular form supported on a short foot and below a cylindrical neck with flat mouth rim, the pale grey stone marked with a dark splash-like inclusion, possibly alluding to a white hare hiding in a bush, stopper. 6.2cm (2 1/2in) high.
