RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 176447. Bbl. 23". Model 63 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Winchester circa. 1960. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations above "SUPER SPEED AND SUPER-X". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. Plain wood forearm and pistol grip buttstock with impress checkered blued steel buttplate. Dovetailed aluminum beaded blade front sight and elevation adj. U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the upper and lower assemblies. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation, as well as a few small superficial handling marks overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture is excellent, showing few minor superficial marks from handling and storage.
