Offered here is Ken Dryden's 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee rookie card, which has been signed by Dryden in the bottom third. Given Dryden's short tenure in the NHL, his autograph is seldom seen and rare on a rookie example. Ken Dryden was one of the NHL’s most efficient and statistically dominant goaltenders, despite playing only eight full seasons. He posted a career 258–57–74 record, an exceptional 2.24 goals-against average, and a .922 save percentage, along with 46 shutouts. Dryden won the Calder Trophy (1972), five Vezina Trophies, and backstopped Montreal to six Stanley Cups, including four straight from 1976–1979. Remarkably, he never had a season with more than 10 regulation losses.
Size
5.5" x 3.5".
Condition
The card received a grade of 4 VG-E from KSA. The autograph remains boldly at the bottom third with an ink smudge on the "Ken" portion. The card itself is well-centred with good but imperfect corners and some central wrinkling, most visible on the reverse side.
