Chabot backstopped the Toronto Maple Leafs to a Stanley Cup in 1932 and later won another championship with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1934. Over his career, Chabot posted multiple strong seasons with goals-against averages among the league’s best, earning recognition as one of the top goaltenders of his generation.
