The 1988 Gary Carter Mets warm-up Jersey and undershirt offered here are a superb pair. The jersey shows extensive evidence of washing and use wear with the correct Rawlings 46-sized tag and stitching indicating the year "88", jersey number "8", and set "1". Many images of Carter wearing the perforated Mets warm-up in 1988 are available upon online search. The undershirt included with the jersey shows extensive use wear and is marked "8" on the reverse, matching the style seen on his bat knobs. The undershirt has Carter written next to the Adidas logo on the reverse side, and Carter has signed the front logo in blue Sharpie.
