Ron Lancaster, affectionately known as "The Little General," was a legendary quarterback who defined an era of Saskatchewan Roughriders football by leading them to their first-ever Grey Cup title in 1966. Over a 19-season playing career, he earned two Most Outstanding Player awards and retired as the CFL’s all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns. He seamlessly transitioned into a prolific coaching career, where he captured two more Grey Cup rings as a head coach with the Edmonton Eskimos in 1993 and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1999. The Grey Cup ring offered here is from his 1999 Championship as the head coach of the team, where Hamilton would claim their 15th championship with a 32–21 victory over the Calgary Stampeders at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. Under the guidance of head coach Ron Lancaster, the Tiger-Cats dominated the first half to secure the franchise's first title in 13 years and avenge their heartbreaking loss to Calgary in the previous year's final. The ring is marked 10k and is in exceptional condition with 39 diamonds surrounding the central Tigercat. The ring weighs 38g. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions.
