The 1947–1948 Toronto Maple Leafs, led by Syl Apps and Ted Kennedy and coached by Hap Day, captured their second straight Stanley Cup. The team swept the Detroit Red Wings in the final, solidifying the start of a late-1940s dynasty. The Royal Canuck straight blade stick offered here is signed by Bill Barilko, Ted Kennedy, Hap Day, Gus Mortson, Max Bentley, Nick Metz, Joe Klukay, Cy Thomas, Garth Boesch, Harry Watson, Turk Broda, Vic Lynn, Don Metz, Howie Meeker, Jim Thompson, Bill Ezinicki, and Syl Apps. The stick is marked "5" just below the untaped knob.

Signatures are in general bold and in dark ink. Bill Barilko, Hap Day, and Ted Kennedy are particularly bold. The stick itself is in very good condition and taped for game use. Minor staining to wood throughout.
