Game 6 of the 1972 Summit Series, held on September 24 in Moscow, was a pivotal turning point that kept Canada’s hopes alive following a devastating loss in Game 5. Trailing 1–0 in the second period, Team Canada erupted for three goals in just 83 seconds from Dennis Hull, Yvan Cournoyer, and Paul Henderson to secure a 3–2 victory. However, the game is remembered for its extreme physicality and one of the most controversial plays in hockey history: Bobby Clarke’s intentional slash on the ankle of Soviet superstar Valeri Kharlamov. Offered here is a ticket stub from the historic Game 6, encapsulated by Icert.
