This assortment of Detroit Red Wings memorabilia belonged to and was used by Gary Bergman, the legendary Detroit Red Wing and 1972 Team Canada Summit Series member. The collection includes two primary equipment bags: a red canvas version featuring the team’s crest on one side with the franchise name on the reverse, and a heavy red vinyl bag marked with Bergman’s number "2" and built with an internal plywood base for stability. A black vinyl travel garment bag decorated with red and white stripes and the "Winged Wheel" logo is also included, along with five pairs of red team socks. The selection of protective gear consists of several heavily used gloves, most notably two pairs of red WinnWell 627s dating back to the mid-1960s that show significant physical wear, such as missing palm panels and holes in the leather. Among the miscellaneous items are a red leather Rawlings glove displaying a white number "5" decal and a single red Louisville right-handed glove featuring the name "Primeau" stitched into the cuff.
