The trio of 1955 cards offered here is a unique and seldom-seen example. The pair of box cut out Geoffrion cards were removed from a 1955 Quaker cereal box as outside advertisements for the Quaker Oats cards that resided inside during that season. Also included in the group is a factory concept George Armstrong card for the 1955 Parkhurst set. The card would have likely been removed by a factory worker once the concept was discarded. The blank back and unique design differ from the 1955 Parkhurst cards it resembles. Most notably, the Toronto Maple Leafs logo is much different than the final design used for the 1955 set.
Size
5.5" x 3.5".
Condition
The box cutouts remain in very good condition and have been graded a 2.5 Good+ and 3 Very Good by KSA. The factory concept is poor and severely creased.
