Jay Milder (American, 1934-) "Space Scope" signed and numbered limited edition lithograph. Milder is a figurative expressionist painter associated with the second-generation New York School, known for his thick impasto surfaces and vibrant color palettes. As a co-founder of the City Gallery in the 1960s, he influenced graffiti and subway art and played a key role in the "Rhino Horn" group. The frame is 33" x 45" and the lithograph is 27 1/4" x 39 1/4". This is edition number 69 of 275. The artwork is in excellent pre-owned condition with no visible flaws.
