A late 19th century mahogany drop dial clock Clerke, 1 Royal Exchange The case with turned wood surround with sloped base with inset door with bone escutcheon and fine stringing with side door to the left hand side with cast brass bezel. The 8 inch silvered brass dial with black Roman numerals and blued steel hands signed Clerke, Royal Exchange, London. The single fusee movement with anchor escapement and square plates, currently ticking. 38cms (15ins) high.
