A late 19th century French striking and repeating carriage clock EGL, Paris The case sumounted by a shaped carrying handle over a small observation window with repeat button, to a decorated top with matching sides and base. The 2.25 inch enamel dial with Arabic numerals, decorated with floral detailing around the numerals and fitted with blued steel hands, framed by a plain matted gilt mask. The twin train movement signed on the back plate EGL, Paris, fitted with a silver lever platform escapement, currently ticking and striking. 17cm (6.5 inches) high.
