US Model 1863 Springfield Rifled Musket

Description

.58-caliber, NSN, walnut stock with what looks like a new cartouche stamp, steel fittings, lock marked "1863" on the tail, marked in front of the hammer with an eagle and "U.S./SPRINGFIELD", barrel marked "1863" on the top at the breech, left side of the breech marked with "V/P" over an eagle head, with a blued rear sight and a replaced two-piece tulip-shaped ramrod.

Stock has a few dings and nicks, steel has some scattered light patina, the bore is dirty with some scattered light pitting, the lock functions properly, the nipple is replaced, the ramrod is replaced, in overall good condition.
