We are pleased to offer an impressive nineteenth century mahogany and parcel gilt console table and pier mirror, designed in the Regency manner with strong classical influence and elegant architectural proportions.

The mirror of architectural form, with a moulded cornice above a geometric inlaid frieze, centred by a rectangular mirror plate within a richly figured mahogany frame.
The sides are flanked by tapering turned columns with carved and gilt capitals and bases.

The console table with a moulded top above a shaped frieze, raised on bold scrolled supports with applied gilt roundels and foliate ornament, terminating in carved paw feet and joined by a shaped plinth base.

Ageing and foxing to the original mirror plate.
Some wear to carving and marks and signs of age to finish and gilded sections.
Evidence of old treated woodworm.
Nice colour and presents well.
