Japanese bronze two piece "Dragon" censor

Description

Amazing Japanese two part urn. The upper part features a dragon visually appearing to weave in and out of the urn itself with areas that at first appear reticulated. This part vears a three character artst's mark. The base is another dragon and a tree for support. Height 9 7/8 inches, width at the base is 9 inches.

Condition

The urn is in excelent condition with minor stains at its rim. Amazing detail and patina.
