Description
Canadian. 1890-1905. Beaver jars come in six sizes (pint, quart, and 1/2 gal) in both American and Imperial measure. Beaver jars in amber are rare in any size, with most being the American quart size. This jar is an American 1/2 gallon size. Incredibly rare in colour. Yellow in direct sun. In lower light, oliver tones come out. Lots of swirling and colour variation. Full of tiny seed bubbles. Strongly embossed. Incredibly, the lid is the matching colour.
