Description
A classic pre-war tabletop toy bowling alley, manufactured by the Brinkman Engineering Co. of Dayton, Ohio, circa 1920s. This mechanized toy features a spring-loaded 'bowler' figure capable of launching a ball down the lane toward a set of ten pins. The design includes functional gutters, a manual pin-setting mechanism, and a side ball-return rail. Constructed from lithographed pressed steel and tin, the piece is finished in a characteristic period red and yellow color scheme and showcases the mechanical ingenuity that made Brinkman a leading name in early 20th-century action toys. Comes with balls and pins. 24.5x5.8 inches.
