Two German Renaissance silver-gilt cups and covers both David Cramer (Kramer), Augsburg, circa 1575 - 1595, one cover apparently unmarked Each with a cylindrical cup embossed and chased with stylised tracery one with fruits and the other with eagles, the pull off domed covers with cast warrior finials, both holding a spear and shield, later inscribed 'CRAINBURG' above an eagle, this engraving repeated to the underside of the cover, both on knopped stemmed pedestal bases with tripartite S scroll supports, height 26.5cm, weight total 34oz.
