A George III gold and enamel etui apparently unmarked, possibly by James Morisset Typical tapering form, the lid set with two enamelled oval plaques painted en grisaille of putti bordered with white and red border, with further oval enamelled plaque to the top of the lid painted en grisaille of a classical maiden with repeated border, either side of the body set with oval enamelled en grisaille plaques of classical maidens with one resting on an urn and the other draping a garland around an urn, the plaques then bordered with engraved floral garlands, the interior with fitted with: scissors, needle, propelling pencil and tweezers, length 9.4cm.
