Footnotes: During the 1970's Patricia Hamilton trained at the Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University. She received various awards including three Goddard's Awards for Silver Design and the Laureaste de Presse Francais while exhibiting in Paris in 1992. She was been a regular exhibitor at the Chelsea Craft Fair and Goldsmiths' Fair. Her regular clients included HRH Princess Christine of the Netherlands; a Saudi princess and Paul McCartney, who she made silver buckles for. She has made ecclesiastical silver for Winchester Cathedral and for the new Christ of the Cornerstone in Milton Keynes; the Queen drank from one of her chalices at the churches inauguration in 1992. Her work is in the Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museum and In 2002 she changed her surname to Freeman, but her makers mark remained PJH. She lived and taught in the Cotswolds.
