A suite of George III silver salvers Ebenezer Coker, London 1764 Shaped circular form, with gadrooned rim, each engraved with the arms of RUSHOUT, the larger raised on three scroll feet, the smaller two raised on hoof feet, diameter largest 30.5cm, weight 44oz. Footnotes: These are the arms of John RUSHOUT (1738-1800) MP for Evesham 1761-96 and his wife Rebecca BOWLES (1740-1818). They were married in 1766 at Wanstead, Essex. John RUSHOUT was the son of John RUSHOUT (1685-1775) 4th Baronet of Milnst, Kent an army officer and an MP for Malmesbury and Evesham, by Lady Anne COMPTON (1696-1766) sixth daughter of George COMPTON (1664-1727) 4th Earl of Northampton. In 1775 he inherited his father's title becoming the 5th Baronet. In 1797 he was created Baron Northwick in the Peerage of England. Rebecca BOWLES was the daughter of Humphry BOWLES (1700-1784) of Wanstead Essex by Hannah HURST (1705-1788).
