Samuel Utter Patent Model Heating Stove, 1872

Description

Patent model heating stove by Samuel S. Utter. Has what appears to be original hand written patent tag (patent No. 131314) with patent date of September 10 1872, and the handwritten patent application (amended model) tag dated July 9 1872. Also has a tag identifying this model as having come from the Cliff Peterson Collection. Horizontal radiator pipe unit is detachable. We have printed out a copy of the original diagrams and description. Model is made of metal. Measures approximately 9.5" x 5.75" x 7.5" tall. Weight: approximately 0.7 pounds. This model has suffered some damage and wear (there is a small dent on one side of the vertical tower (largely not visible because of the dark coloring). Please see photos for details and condition.
