The Kora is traditionally associated with India, Nepal, and Tibet; this example, with its tulwar hilt, is of Indian taste. Blade measures approximately 19" on the diagonal from tip of blade, flaring to 2 - 5/8" across the tip. Classic form with flatback spine and tulwar hilt decorated with silver sheet and decorated with geometrics and florals. CONDITION: Largely dove grey throughout with some scattered areas of mossing and darkness, some scratches along the cutting edge. Grip with some areas of separation of silver, some areas missing, and evidence of cleaning with tarnish and cleaning remnants in recesses. Blade Length: 19" Overall Length: 24"
