Large nicely penned English vellum indenture dated 1696 during the reign of William the Third being the conveyance of property in Chelton in the county of Somerset between a Merchant and a Gentleman of Bridgewater to a Yeoman. Large calligraphic initial letter with the date and a bird sketch, blue revenue stamp and two red wax seals on vellum tags each with nice armorial impression. Signatures and dockets on verso, measures 29 by 21 inches Fine condition with folds.
