Statue eines Maedchens. Hellenistisch, 2. Haelfte 2. Jh. v. Chr. H 73,2cm. Weisser, feinkristalliner Marmor. Die Dargestellte steht in leichtem Kontrapost mit nach hinten gestelltem linken Spielbein auf einer ovalen Plinthe. Bekleidet ist sie mit einem auf der Schulter geknoepften, aermelfreien Chiton mit langem Apoptygma, der unter der Brust mit einem Knoten geguertet ist. Rueckwaertig ist die Plinthe abgearbeitet und weist zwei Loecher auf, in denen moderne Metallstifte stecken. Mit Kopie der Rechnung von 1980! Unter den Knien gebrochen und wieder angesetzt, Kopf, beide Arme und die angesetzte rechte Fussspitze fehlen, leichte Bestossungen, Oberflaeche leicht berieben. The figure stands in slight contrapposto with her left leg extended backward on an oval plinth. She wears a sleeveless chiton, buttoned at the shoulder, with a long apoptygma, which is belted with a knot below the bust. The back of the plinth is worn and has two holes containing modern metal pins. With copy of the invoice from 1980! Broken below the knees and reattached, head, both arms and the attached right toe are missing, slight abrasions, surface slightly rubbed. Acquired in 1980 from Marie Laforet S.A., Geneva.
