Kopf eines Knaben. 1. Jh. n.Chr., roemische Kaiserzeit nach einem hellenistischen Original des 2. Jh H 15,1cm und mit Sockel 21,5cm. Weisser, feinkristalliner Marmor. Knabe mit grosser Haarzange auf der Stirn, seitlich und auf dem Hinterkopf zu Voluten eingerollte Locken. Mit Kopie der Rechnung von 1980! Im Hals gebrochen, winzige Bestossungen, stellenweise Oberflaeche gereinigt, mit Sockel aus Buntmarmor. Provenienz: Ex Sammlung A. M., Ascona / Amsterdam, erworben 1980 bei Marie Laforet S.A., Genf. Head of a boy. Roman, 1st century AD after a Hellenistic original from the 2nd century BC. H 15.1cm and 21.5cm with base. White, fine-grained marble. Boy with large hair tongs on his forehead, curls rolled into volutes at the sides and back of his head. With copy of the invoice from 1980! Broken at the neck, tiny chips, surface cleaned in places, with a base made of colored marble. Acquired in 1980 from Marie Laforet S.A., Geneva.
