A pair of carved and turned giltwood candlesticks adapted to lampbases 20th century The nozzles with lotus leaf decoration leading to a lobed tapering stem above a circular foot with conforming lotus leaf decoration, later adapted for electricity, excluding fitments: 15cm wide, 15cm deep, 40cm high (5 1/2in wide, 5 1/2in deep, 15 1/2in high) (2) Footnotes: Provenance Possibly Christie's, London, Hackwood Park, 20-22 April 1998, lot 396.
