A similar Lazy Susan to the above lot was sold by Christie's on 21 April 1994 (lot 14), and which differed from the present piece only in the design of the spandrels, and was labelled William Harrison Jr. The Dictionary of English Furniture Makers, Leeds, 1986, p. 405, lists William Harrison as working in the second quarter of the 19th century.
