A late 19th century kingwood gilt bronze mounted longcase clock in the Louis XV style Martinot, Paris The case surmounted with ormolu mounts with a central panel depicting musical instruments and swags, the main body inlaid with marquetry floral decoration with a large ormolu framed lenticle to the trunk door, raised on a detachable base with conforming marquetry decoration, the sides with crossbanded veneers, the door opening to reveal the pendulum. The 11 inch white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers signed in the centre Martinot, Paris with blued steel hands.
