Description: Vintage Silver Safir Portugal Ship Brooch, C-Clasp, 1930's-1940's. This is a filigree design to the sles with enameled Portugal and red enameled maltese crosses on two fo the sales. It is appx. 1.75" wide and 1.25" tall. It tests as silver, could be .800 to higher - acid testing is a strong reaction but it is not marked so I'd estimate .800 to .925. Weight of the brooch is appx. 3.20 gr. Other than oxidation it is in very good condition. (W9223.8 SS12036 J LD 9/26/23).
