Mariëtte LINDERS (Dordrecht 1952)Initially, Mariëtte Linders makes drying needles that focus on drawing problems from ancient art. Her work is then still predominantly abstract. Later, human figures appear in her paintings, watercolours, drawings and sculptures, not to disappear from them again, although the abstraction in that figuration is always present.
