Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Amethyst Earrings, Pierced, 1980's-1990's. these are 1.5" from the curve in the hook post. They are marked .925 and tested. Test as sterling with a weight of appx.5.65gr. They have a bezel-set amethyst on top that is set in square that is appx. 5.5mm. It has a reddish purple hue and tests as garnet. The turquoise is a pear shape with the point set downward and it is also bezel set with a wider pear-shaped base. The turquoise is appx.10mm by 7mm and is hinged to the amethyst setting. This has both a southwestern look and a Boho look. It is not signed by the maker Very good condition, light oxidation that can be polished away. (W31321.1X1 SS9847 J LD 2/27/23).
