BECAUD GILBERT: (1927-2001) French singer, composer, and actor, known as "Monsieur 100,000 Volts" for his energetic performances. His best-known hits are Nathalie and Et Maintenant, a 1961 release that became an English language hit as What Now My Love. A very fine and earli signed postcard photograph by Becaud, the Ufa image showing a young Becaud in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in bold dark blue fountain pen ink with his name alone across the image, also dated below in his hand in 1986. EX
