Artcraft Blue and Gold fountain pens, circa 1929. Artcraft made fountain pens out of Birmingham, Alabama. They originally worked with Edison who made their early fountain pens in the early 1920’s and then later were made in Alabama. These two examples in the tapered style, one ring top and one with clip, both with original Artcraft 14K fine nibs. Length 4 7/8 inches and 5 5/8 inches posted, filling mechanisms lever fill. Overall mixed condition, colour, imprints and trim bright throughout. Clip version with original barrel sticker, ring top pen with crack to barrel threads. Artcraft appeared to have died out in the early 1930’s though the company did re-appear in Argentina in the 1960’s, these earlier American made examples are not common.
