Description
Artcraft flattop and tapered fountain pens, circa 1920’s. Artcraft made fountain pens out of Birmingham, Alabama. Artcraft originally worked with Edison who made their early fountain pens in the 1920’s and then later pens were made in Alabama. These two examples both with original stickers and Artcraft 14K fine nibs. Length 4 5/8-4 7/8 inches and 5 3/4 inches posted, filling mechanisms lever fill. Overall excellent to near mint condition, black flattop with sticker on butt end of barrel and original orange section. Artcraft appeared to have died out in the early 1930’s though the company did re-appear in Argentina in the 1960’s, these earlier American made examples are not common.
