Crusades period. This superb ring features a favorite Medieval motif, the four point Star of Bethlehem. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.30, bottom right for an example dated 10th-13th century. It is size 8 ¾ with 2.6mm wide, deeply rounded band flaring to the shoulders. Circular bezel, with the face is engraved with the Star of Bethlehem as represented at the time. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
