A stunning large pair of Neoclassical obelisks by Maitland-Smith, made in the late 20th century. Each obelisk stands an impressive 24 inches, two feet tall, featuring finely cast silver-plated bronze mounts and topped with a stylized palmette finial. The obelisks are constructed from book-matched polished coconut shell, creating a stunning pyramidal structure that rests on a 10-inch square pedestal base. At each corner of the base, a finely cast and detailed silver-plated bronze lion reclines, adding a touch of regal elegance. These impressive obelisks are a perfect statement piece for any interior, combining classical design elements with luxurious materials.
