A Very Fine Antique Fes, Morocco Blue Decorated Large Size Charger, Circa 1920's

Made in Morocco. Most Likely from the city of Fes.

Marked in Arabic on the back

Wonderful hand painted decoration. Large size, great for serving rice or a meal for a group of friends

Size: 19 1/2" across, 4 1/2" tall

Condition: Some minor glaze loss, and in painting from stilt marks during the manufacturing process. Wear and age marks are consistent with age and use. Small section of repainting on the edge from the firing process, probably was in contact with another piece of pottery in the kiln.
