A Antique Brown Transfer Decorated Staffordshire Platter, "Nankin" by Dimmock, Circa 1830's
Made by Thomas Dimmock 1828-1860, of the Albion Street Works and the Tontine Street Works, Hanley (Shelton), Stoke-on-Trent, England.
Unmarked, however we are losing several pieces of this pattern.
A shapely platter, or probably a underliner for a soup tureen. However, most definitely could be used as a serving tray for Tapas or Hors d'oeuvres.
Size: 14 3/4" by 11", and 1 3/4" tall.
Condition: Excellent preserved condition. Very minor use and wear marks, light glaze crazing, light glaze scratches.
